Alurio is where children read stories while growing their English — under rules we hold tightly: anything that touches a child's safety and privacy, we put in writing on this page.
How safety is held
AI may help draft, but nothing publishes before a human reviews it for quality and safety (PR-1, SB-16).
The AI never chats with your child. It only matches your child's answer against what the author wrote (SAF-02).
No harsh game over: failing returns to a checkpoint, and learning progress never resets (PR-4).
Stories are age-banded, and the strictest rating wins.
Alurio runs no advertising — this is policy, not a marketing line (MKT-29).
How progress is visible
Every play records two separate scores: Mission (endings reached, stars, story endings discovered) and English (scored from your child's own answers, with a per-type breakdown) (PR-3).
Both stay visible and are never reset — dice luck never touches the language score, and weak English never stops the character (PR-3, PR-4).
What a play session looks like
Your child reads one story section per screen, chooses the path or answers in their own words — typing, speaking, photographing, or drawing — then receives a star. Sessions are short, and every one leaves a trace in both scores.
Age bands
Every story is rated by author, checker, and reviewer, and the strictest rating wins. Stories that fit your child are found through age bands — not through guesswork recommendations.
